To make daily collections speedier and more efficient, the Company has introduced a unique machine for Daily Deposit Scheme Agents, mainly to cope with their volume of collections, data accuracy, speed of operations and better customer information.

This  modest  Interactive Voice Response Service was introduced by the company to ensure better information to the customer. Through this help line, the customer can dial in to hear about the Company's products, branch locations, or any important announcement made by the Company regarding Smart Rojgar Yojana. Also, a caller can reach the Complaint Sector where the customer can record his/her own voice or make a call to Direct Customer Care Service.
 
Partnership with Max New York Life Insurance Company Ltd.

Peerless Developers Ltd. (PDL), a wholly owned subsidiary of PGFI, recently entered into an agreement with Max New York Life Insurance Company Ltd. (MNYL)- a new generation private sector conglomerate in life insurance business in India. As per the agreement, PDL has taken over the corporate agency of MNYL.

In the first phase, PDL has decided to conduct business through its own SPs in the East and the North- Eastern regions and subsequently, in the Northern part of the country, using the infrastructure and network of its parent company, PGFI. Necessary training on the products and life insurance business has been imparted to PDL executives at the branch level.

This strategic alliance was formally announced at The Peerless Inn, Kolkata on July 5th, 2006, attended by a large number of employees from PDL, PGFI and MNYL. Plans are under way to organize similar events in places like Coochbehar, Midnapore, Guwahati, Agartala, Delhi, Ludhiana, Varanasi and Jaipur.

With our vast country-wide network, the new expanded product portfolio should lead to a healthier turnover. To provide teeth to the new segment, a separate Insurance Department has been set up.

Peerless took over as the corporate agent of ITGI

A new chapter in Financial Product Distribution business opened with the signing of a business agreement between Peerless Developers Limited - a wholly-owned subsidiary of the PGFI and IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance Company Limited on June 15, 2007 at The Park, Kolkata. Peerless took over as the corporate agent of IETG for distribution of some of their general insurance products. These are Trade Suvidha, Home Suvidha, Individual Medishield and Motor insurance.
